A Trip to Peru

Peru Vacation

Going to Peru may seem like enough of an adventure for some, but it’s not. Visiting Cusco, the Totem King Of the Andes, is a given when visiting this part of the world. But what makes it truly special? The answer is found in a place called Machu Picchu.

When traveling to Peru, many people tend to focus on the major attractions in the region. Machu Picchu, in the heart of the Sacred Valley, is a much-visited attraction. In Huaci at Cusco, you’ll find many heritage reels hidden among the peaks. Peaks that are associated with the ancient Inca tribes. In fact, one of the most famous mountain peaks in all of Peru, Andes’ tallest, is also found in this valley.

You can still find tracks that lead up to the ancient city right next to the mountain. In fact, you will see no major tracks in the area that lead up to the city. There are a few that are placed here, but most are just digging out the soil to show explorers that there certainly did exist ancient settlements in this area.

The enchantment of the Sacred Valley is the evocativeness of the landscape. You can see the volcanoes when driving toward the valley. And, at the end of the day, there are many still remain for you to see.

The valley is parable to hour of all of South America. It will be a place that your etreat to when you are in Peru. You can get to the Sacred Valley byPeruvian Railways as well as by going on open tours. Going by rail allows visitors to jump on and off at many different locations in the valley. Thet rain in Cusco arrives around 9:30am and leaves at around 4:30pm. This will allow visitors to ride the Urubamba River during the day and be back for dinner at the end of the third day. (There are no overnight camping accommodations here.)

A tip I got from a friend who does cover for roof Texas and recently got back from Peru is to get to the Sacred Valley, you will need to take the Peruvian toll-road. From Lima, thelen for the trip takes about 19 hours. However, many visitors find that it is easier to drive themselves down to the valley. It is reputed to be a scenic drive through the mountains, and the view from the top is truly unforgettable.

At the end of the drive, visitors should plan to stay the night in Machu Picchu. From the high atop the citadel, visitors can see the valley and snowcapped mountains beyond. If you want, there are five hotels located within the city, but it is advisable to make a shuttle reservation toategruglian elsewhere for the night. After a full day of tours and adventure, visitors can relax at the Vernal Temples Spa. Thespais the site for the private baths and two steam rooms. The temples are open daily from 6am to 11pm.

Machu Picchu is located 250 miles northwest of Cusco, in the high Andes Mountains. Over three million tourists visit Peru each year to see this breathtaking city, which has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since the three cases of indigenous people losing their lives.
